Our client, a government contractor, is seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist for a permanent role supporting accurate payroll processing and compliance. This position is ideal for professionals looking to grow their payroll career in a collaborative, mission-driven environment.

Work Schedule: Hybrid – Onsite 2 days/week in Reston, VA

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately process multi-cycle payrolls and handle related reporting requirements
• Support new hire setup, employee terminations, and payroll adjustments
• Collaborate with HR on payroll discrepancies and employee inquiries
• Maintain timesheet corrections and workers’ compensation calculations
• Generate payroll and compliance reports as required

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of payroll experience in a government contracting setting
• Proficiency with Deltek Costpoint and ADP Workforce Now required
• Working knowledge of payroll accounting principles and systems
• US. Citizenship required (per client contract)

Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred; High School diploma or GED required

Position will offer a salary range of $70 to $90k per year based on experience as well as a competitive benefits package.
